Today’s challenge is quick, easy and very satisfying: make six Christmas gift tags from scraps.

Use whatever you have:
• Cardstock offcuts
• Old Christmas cards
• Wrapping paper scraps
• Brown paper
• Ribbon pieces
• Buttons
• Punches
• Stamps
• Stickers
• Twine
• Magazine pictures
• Small die cuts

Gift tags do not need to be complicated. A rectangle of cardstock, a punched hole, a bit of string and a handwritten name can be beautiful.

You can make them rustic, pretty, bright, traditional, vintage, country-style or clean and simple. The point is to start building a stash of wrapping supplies now.

Pop the finished tags into your Present Box or wrapping station.

Cheapskates tip: Tiny scraps are perfect for tags. This is one of the easiest no-spend Christmas crafts.
