Elastic Laces - June 2018
This is an energy and frustration saver, more than anything else.
Don't you hate it when those shoes you bought at the start of the day don't fit by the end of the day?
Don't you hate it when you have to do up your little one's shoes every morning and several times a day because they just come undone?
If you replace your shoe laces with elastic in the same size, colour and width of your laces, you only have to do them up once, because a bow in elastic just gets tighter with use. The elastic also gives enough to help shoes mould to feet, even by late afternoon when your feet can be swelling up from standing all day.
You can normally get the right size of elastic for around the $1-$2 a metre, from the supermarket manchester shelf, or other fabric and alteration shops. The elastic looks enough like shoelaces, that only a few people will ever notice, and the ones that do will probably start doing it themselves.
