Making the soaps small, miniatures, means you'll get more from your soap base, but they look so lovely when they are grouped together in a box or cellophane bag.
To make the soap follow the instructions that came with the soap base.
For these little soaps I used Anko Soap Base, and followed the instructions on the container to cut the base into smaller pieces and then heat it in 30 second on low, then in 10 second bursts in the microwave, stirring inbetween each one, until it was completely melted.

Then I added the soap dye and the fragrance oil - rose, to match the pink soap, poured it into the moulds and carefully spritzed the top with a fine mist of isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol). This bursts any little bubbles on the top of the soap, leaving a nice smooth and even finish.
The moulds I used are silicone chocolate moulds. I bought them years ago, with mini soaps in mind, from Aldi and if I recall correctly, they were $4.99 a set of eight. Use whatever moulds you have.
Soap moulds can be as simple as an empty juice carton, a cake tin or muffin pan, you don't need to spend a fortune on moulds.

Mini soaps don't take long to set and the advantage of a glycerine base is that it can be used immediately, there is no need to wait 6 weeks for it to cure.
When the soap is set, turn it out onto a cake rack and let it dry for a few hours before packaging it up.

So simple, so easy and so quick!
