100 Days to a Cheapskates Style Christmas Day 38: Giant Paper Clip Fridge Magnets
These giant paper clips look so pretty when they are embellished with a pretty paper or silk flower. Stick a magnet on the back and they are handy note holders.
You will need:
Giant paper clips - the ones I used measure 10cm and come in pretty metallic colours of gold, silver and copper
Small magnets
Paper or Silk flowers (or bows or whatever embellishment you want to use)
Hot glue gun
Glue stick
Step 1. Heat the glue gun.
Step 2. Stick the flower to the top of the paper clip using the hot glue. Let it sit a minute to set.
Step 3. On the back of the flower, stick the magnet using the hot glue gun. Again, let it sit a minute to cool and set.
You can get packs of 8 pastel coloured 100mm paper clips from Officeworks for $2.92.
Flowers can be found at $2 shops, craft shops, Spotlight and Lincraft.
Couldn't be any easier! Give them in singles, or put them in packs of three.
