100 Days to a Cheapskates Style Christmas day 67: Pretty Magnetic Fridge Calendars
These little calendars are quick and easy to make, even the kids could do them. They make great gifts, or add-ons to a gift, or as a quirkly gift tag. They sell well at fetes too, so they're not just for gifts.
You will need:
Coloured cardstock
1 small 2021 calendar*
Embellishments
1 promotional magnet**
Glue
Step 1. Cut a strip of cardstock 20cm x 10cm. This is the base of your calendar.
Step 2. Stick the mini calendar to the bottom of the cardstock, about 2.5cm from the base.
Step 3. Decorate the top to suit your style, or that of your recipient.
Step 4. Glue the promotional magnet to the top back of the cardstock, magnetic side out.
That's it, you're done.
As you can see in the photo, I added a sentiment/greeting and decorated with stamps, stickers and silk and paper flowers. Use what you have.
*Mini calendars are available in packs of 10 at craft shops, or online (eBay, Wish, Ali Express etc.)
**This is another way to use up those promotional magnets that get dropped in the letterbox.
