1001 Uses for Scrunchies
I have a gorgeous daughter who had a contest with her best friend in primary school. There were going to grow their hair to see who had the longest at the start of Year 7. They were in Grade 2 at the time, so it was a long contest. As her hair grew, so did her collection of hair accessories. Quite a few years on (she finished school six years ago), she still has long hair. And she has combs, clips, slides, ribbons, elastics, bobbles and of course the ever versatile scrunchie. She has scrunchies she's made to match outfits, to co-ordinate with uniforms, fun, bright coloured ones, sedate ones, big, small and extra-large scrunchies. In fact, we have so many scrunchies in our house we could open a market stall!
But scrunchies aren't just for hair. They can be really useful around the house if you use your imagination. Here’s a list with some fun, some quirky and some really useful alternative ways to use scrunchies.
