31 Days of MOO 28 MOO Garlic Pizza

I make garlic pizza instead of buying the expensive pre-packaged garlic bread at the grocery store.

Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Place two whole wheat Lebanese breads (or other bread on hand) on pizza trays and spread with olive oil and crushed garlic. I usually use a silicone pastry brush for this as it is less messy and you don't have to use too much oil.

sometimes use fresh garlic but canned is fine or even garlic powder from the pantry. Top with your favourite grated cheese.

I keep a large bag of mixed tasty, mozzarella and parmesan in my freezer (no name and grated myself of course).

I also keep a bag of Lebanese bread in the freezer as well and pull out some when I need them.

Shake Italian herbs (oregano, basil, parsley etc.), ground pepper and sea salt on top.

Put in oven for approximately 2-3 min and then place directly on rack to make the bread crispy and take out when the cheese is golden brown (approximately 2-3 minutes).

Cut into wedges with a pizza cutter and serve immediately.

I eat this as a side to almost anything, especially a grilled steak or pasta. The leftover pieces can be taken for lunch and heated for a few seconds in the microwave.

This saves me heaps as the grocery store garlic breads are expensive and very fattening. I can store all the ingredients in my pantry and freezer and it only takes 5 minutes to make and 5 minutes to bake so it's fast. Best of all it's delicious and very cheap!
