31 Days of MOO No. 8 MOO Dusting Cloths
You can buy dusters that are pre-treated to attract dust and leave furniture clean and fresh - or you can MOO them, choose your own fragrance and save a fortune.
You Will Need
2 cups hot water
4 tbsp olive oil
25ml lemon essential oil
A bowl
A ziplock bag or container with a tight lid
Cotton T-shirts
Step 1: Mix your solution
In a bowl, mix together the hot water and lemon oil, which you can find in health food stores.
Step 2: Cut the t-shirt into 20cm squares (or whatever size you like your dusters to be). Using old t-shirts gives you nice, soft, lint free dusters and of course recycles them into something useful. Add the dusters and let them soak up the mixture for about two hours.
Step 3: After soaking, gently wring the cloths out if they need it. Then hang them on the line to air dry.
Once the cloths are dry they are ready to use. To store them, put them into a ziplock bag or a container with a tight fitting lid.
When they get dirty just toss them into the washing machine and resoak them to use again.
Squeeze out the cloths and allow them to air dry. That's it – they're ready to use. When they get dirty, toss them in the washing machine and start over.
