31 Days of MOO No. 3 Quick & Easy Crocheted Face Scrubbies

Why waste your money on disposable face scrubbies when these are so quick, they only take about 10 minutes each to crochet up, and use very little cotton yarn.

This pattern makes a larger sized scrubby, that fits in the hand, and is big enough to use without it scrunching up.

Use an 8 or 10 ply soft cotton or bamboo yarn for the softest face scrubby and a 5.5mm crochet hook. I found regular crochet cotton to be very rough for face scrubbies, and you'll need to double the yarn if you choose to use it as it is generally only 4 ply. Bernat Handicrafter makes lovely scrubbies, and being 100% cotton, it is tough, washable, boilable if necessary and dries quickly too.

You will need:
A small amount of 100% cotton or bamboo yarn - about 20 metres.

Row 2. Make 3 chain. Then work 2 double crochet into the first chain space, then 2 double crochet into each chain; join with a slip stitch. 24 double crochet.

Row 3. Make 3 chain. Work one puff stitch in each chain. Join with a slip stitch. 48 stitches.

Row 4. Chain 2. Work one single crochet in each chain. Join with slip stitch. Cast off. Weave in ends.
