This is an unusual combination, but oh boy does it taste good! Have it for breakfast, as a snack for afternoon tea or serve it for dessert, however you have it, it's sure to be a winner.
ngredients:
6 slices thick raisin bread
825g can apple pie filling, drained (or the equivalent in home stewed apple)
6 slices tasty cheese
Method:
Preheat grill. Place raisin bread on a baking sheet and lightly toast under grill. Remove from grill and top each bread slice with an equal amount of apple pie filling and a cheese slice. Grill 2 to 3 minutes, or until filling is heated through and cheese is melted. Serve immediately.
