Who doesn't love a freebie, especially on their birthday!
This month I've collected lots of freebies and discount vouchers and every birthday bonus helped make a special day a little more special and given me treats my budget doesn't cover. You can enjoy the same freebies on your birthday, simply by joining or signing up to the loyalty programmes that appeal to you.

There are so many loyalty programmes that offer birthday bonuses, either in the form of free product or a discount. Join your favourite programmes for extra birthday presents, or if you're a savvy Cheapskater, use them to purchase gifts for your present box at discounts.
To keep track of birthday bonuses set up a folder in your email account and have them filtered off into your birthday folder. This keeps them in the one place, as they start coming in up to a fortnight before your birthday and can easily get lost. It also means if you need to find the email to redeem the voucher you can do so easily on your phone.
There are terms and conditions attached to all these bonuses, some of them, such as the Hoyts Rewards program, have different levels and some have a membership fee/joining fee i.e. the Hoyts Rewards program has both bronze (free) and silver ($13 a year) - you need to decide which benefits you'd like and whether or not you're prepared to pay a fee for them.
