No Bake Caramello Slice
Ingredients:
250g block Caramello chocolate
125g butter
1/2 tin condensed milk
1 pkt Marie biscuits
Method:
Crush biscuits in food processor. Stir in condensed milk. Melt Caramello and butter together over low heat. Pour over biscuit mixture and stir well to combine. Press into a baking paper lined slice tray. Cut into 16 squares. Set in fridge.
Cost: $5.50
Notes:
Use chocolate bought on sale and stored in the freezer for this recipe to reduce the cost.
MOO condensed milk can be used, again it will reduce the cost of the recipe.
Generic biscuits are fine and around half the price of branded biscuits.
