Dear Cath April 2019
Q. I just joined up, but when I look up the recipes on my phone they are not linked and I can't access them. Am I doing something wrong or looking in the wrong place? Thanks. Samantha
A. Go to the Recipe File index, click on the category containing the recipe you want to use to be taken straight to it's file. Then scroll down to the recipe title to jump to that particular recipe.

Q. Love your newsletters and you tube nights. When I figure out how to make a channel I will join the You Tube chat. I was wondering what your first website was called. Genna
A. Look forward to chatting to you. All you need to create a You Tube channel is an email account. You Tube call their accounts "channels". Sign up for a You Tube account and you'll have your channel and be able to join us on the live chat.
My first website was called Cheapskates. It's always been called Cheapskates, but when my first book was published, there was a lot more interest and people were talking about joining the "cheapskates club", and so we became known as the Cheapskates Club. To help with identification the website name was changed, but the URL remained the same.

Q. Cath you mentioned about planning a winter garden now. I would love it if you could do a show on this soon and share your tips and tricks on creating a vegetable garden and what to plant with each other to keep pests at bay and perhaps then follow up with subsequent shows with tips around the change of season and what to plant next. I am keen to get started on our vegetable garden. Gina
A. I would love to do some segments on the garden, the issue is actually getting them recorded and edited - I need a different camera and software (Tom has found some he thinks his technologically challenged mother can use!) and of course daylight!
Don't over complicate your garden. Just find a box and some potting mix or soil and plant something! Setting up a garden can be as inexpensive and easy as you like or as complicated and expensive as you like.
I suggest you start with one or two things you all eat, and buy seedlings to get the garden started. If you don't have yard space for garden beds, then pots or fruit boxes or even the green shopping bags will work.

Q. I can't find the recipe for yogurt. How many cups of water do you add to 2 cups of powered milk. Yvonne
A. Goodness, the MOO yoghurt is everywhere! On our website, the blog, my personal blog, even features regularly on Facebook and it's on our You Tube channel too!
The recipe makes 1 litre of yoghurt. You need to use 1 litre jar, add your milk powder and then top it up with warm tap water.
Here's the link to the recipe on our website MOO Yoghurt
