DIY Non-stick Pans - Friday 1st May 2015
After spending literally hundreds of dollars on supposedly lifetime guaranteed non-stick pans of all sizes, I have now given up on them. My tip is an ordinary pan of size for item to be cooked, tear off a piece of non-stick baking paper and line the pan - mostly in frying pans - just ensure the paper is only the size of the INSIDE of the pan. This way I achieve cooking without fat and best of all, when finished the food slides off the paper and the used paper goes into the bin. Added bonus - one clean pan for next time. I worked out the cost of the non-stick paper over time was a lot less than the so-called never stick pans!
