Hello Cheapskaters,
This month's Journal is all about saving cents. Just cents, no big dollar amounts. Because when you save cents, over and over and over, you'll end up with those big dollars.
Of course you can save big dollars, but those savings are usually one-offs. $50 off the car insurance, or $200 on a new washing machine. They're great savings and not to be ignored, indeed you should be actively hunting them, but when you can save a few cents here and there, over and over, those tasks become things you do on autopilot, no effort required. They are the easy savings.
If you can save 10 cents on 10 things a day, that's $1, or $7 for the week, or $365 for the year (a month's grocery money for a family of 5 on the $300 a Month Grocery Challenge!).
And we Cheapskates love making saving money easy.
Enjoy your Cheapskates Journal.
