Welcome to another edition of The Cheapskates Journal. This month marks the end of 18 years of The Cheapskates Club.
Looking back is fun. We've come a long, long way since that very first Journal was published. And we've grown a lot too. But it's more fun to look forward, to plan and plot and create goals to strive for, and that's what I've been doing for the last five weeks.
Plotting and planning and setting goals for the future of Cheapskates. You may have noticed a few little changes happening over the last three weeks (most of them are in the background, so don't worry if you haven't picked them up). But over the next six to eight weeks there will be big changes happening, so big you won't be able to miss them.
And they start with a forum update. We've had this forum for a long time, so it's time to update it. It will change in appearance, and the way you access it, but all your threads and posts will be safe. That means the current forum will be offline for a few hours, and I'll be sure to let you know when that is going to happen, while the new forum is brought over and activated. I'll be sure to let you know all about the new forum and how it works, and what the good, fun stuff is and how to find it as soon as it's ready.
As the other changes happen, I'll be sure to let you know so you won't miss out.
