Member Centre Help Files: Tip of the Day
I send a Tip of the Day five days a week, Monday through Friday, usually around 10am each morning; they even go out on public holidays.
It will appear your inbox, with the subject "Cheapskates Club Tip of the Day (and then the date)". If your membership has expired, or you are not a Cheapskates Club member, you won't be able to access the extras in the Tip of the Day.
Monday is usually a craft/hobby tip or hint.
Tuesday is a recipe.
Wednesday is a financial tip.
Thursday is a home/garden tip.
Friday is a shopping tip.
At the bottom of each Tip of the Day email is another section, "You might also like...." and it will have three links.
The first is to a forum post.
The second link will take you to an article post.
The third is a link to a relevant YouTube show.
To view either the forum post, or the article, you will need to be logged into the Member Centre and/or Member Forum. If you are logged in, then you'll go straight to the page for the link you clicked. If you're not logged in, then you'll be directed to a general page on our website and you can login from there.
So login!
Logging in is easy: enter the email address and password on record for your membership, click the "Stay logged in" dot and then click the login button. If you've entered your login details correctly, you'll then just click to enter the Member's Centre.
To log into the forum enter your forum username (or your email address) and password. Click the "keep me logged in" box and then the pink Log In button. If you have forgotten your forum logins, there is a forgot password link to help you reset it. The email address is (or should be - if you've changed it with letting us know then I can't help you) the email address used on your membership application form.
