Honey Mustard Chicken
My family really likes honey mustard chicken, and the sauce in the jar is very convenient. But I didn't always have a jar on hand, so I came up with my own version, made with pantry staples, and it is so good I haven't used a jar since!
Honey Mustard Chicken
Ingredients:
500g chicken fillets, diced (thigh or breast, skin off)
1 tbsp honey
2 tsp wholegrain mustard
1/4 cup cream (or evaporated milk)
Method:
Brown chicken in a non-stick frypan. Combine honey, mustard and cream. Pour over chicken pieces. If the sauce is too thick, add a little chicken stock or cream to thin it. Simmer for 10 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
