Own Your Christmas Challenge Week 2: How to Wrap the Perfect Gift
Wrapping a gift or package perfectly is simple, truly it is.
There are just 6 simple steps to the perfectly wrapped gift:
1. Measure the paper. Before you start cutting, wrap the paper around the gift. It should overlap by about 3 cm and the ends should measure a little more than halfway down when they are folded over.
2. Put the gift upside down on the paper, so the join is on the bottom of the package.
3. Bring the paper up, pulling it tight to the gift. Fold the top edge of the paper under a little to neaten. Use a short length of tape to stick it down in the centre.
4. Fold the sides in from the top first and creasing sharply along the edge. Crease the diagonal folds on both flaps.
5. Make a narrow fold along the edge of each flap to neaten.
6. Fold top down and bring bottom up, seal ends with a short length of sticky tape.
