Driving Etiquette
Always make sure you know and obey the road rules. This seems obvious but you can get fined $230 for being 8 k over the speed limit. Also you can get fined for eating, drinking, or touching your mobile phone or GPS while driving. A driver can be fined for not wearing a seat belt or for their passenger not wearing a seat belt so be sure to buckle up. Also make sure your registration is paid, and your car is in good condition. Happy driving.

MOO Shower Vapour Pucks
1-1/2 cups bicarb soda
2 tbsp cornflour
2 tbsp water (may need a little more)
3ml eucalyptus oil
2ml peppermint oil
Mix all the ingredients together until they stick together without falling apart. You may need to add an extra teaspoon of water. The mixture should be damp enough to stick together in a ball. Press the mixture into your favourite molds. Let dry overnight. Store in an airtight container. To use, throw one or two onto the floor of the shower at the edge of the water spray and let the hot water and steam release the vapours.

Photo Cards
I started looking through several draws of photos and albums one day and thought it is such a shame that these photos of our family that are not seen so I have started making up cards for birthdays, mother's day for my daughters, who are new mums, and Christmas. I find specific photos that feature them when they were younger or when they were with grandparents who are no longer here. The reactions have been heart warming and even brought tears. Lovely memories brought back to life for minimal cost.

Cheap Cover Crops
If you are a keen gardener you will know that winter is the time to grow cover crops to revitalise the ground particularly for vegetable growing. You can purchase various seeds and mixtures from nurseries but they are quite expensive. I simply purchase whole dried green peas and whole beans from the supermarket. I make sure they are Australian as overseas products are often fumigated and don’t germinate. Simply scatter the seeds thickly over the area, cover lightly with soil and water. When they have grown to about 30cm and before they flower, slash and dig in. By the time you want to plant a spring crop the remnants will have decomposed and enriched the planting area.

Pay Yourself First
I have read several articles by wealthy people and all say "pay yourself first." This means put some money each pay day into a savings account or invest it. They all say to have an emergency fund first, before investing. Funny about the emergency fund; that is what is emphasized on this site.
