Little Things Cost A Lot
A coffee here, a takeaway dinner there. Just one soft drink on impulse while you're at the checkout. Not much on their own. But add them together and how much are you spending?
When it comes to saving money in your household budget, the little things really do add up.
Look how much you would save in a year if you cut out just ONE thing. And can you believe how much you could save in just ONE year if you economized on all these things?

The prices I've used are averages and on the lean side. I've been especially generous with the price of per kilo for meat and the eating out for a family.
These are general costs, little on their own that you probably wouldn't miss. But add them up and you can see how little things cost a lot. When you're asked for $4.15 for a coffee you hand it over without thinking. But if you were asked to hand over $1,079 you'd stop and think (and quite possibly wouldn't have that cash to spare).
This isn't meant to guilt you into giving up the things you like, want or love. Rather it's intended to show you how quickly a little thing here or a little thing there can very quickly erode your standard of living, leaving you without savings and potentially in debt.
