Value with Australian Baby Card
Last year I joined my granddaughter at Playgroup and on joining received a Australian Baby Card valued at $30 free. Upon registering the card with ABC I received a $100 Angelface Gift Voucher which allowed me to take my own photos and have designer images made. The ABC Card allows me to purchase baby/children's items at certain stores (across all States) at discounted prices as well as buying over the Internet, also at discounted prices. If you don't have children attending playgroup, the ABC card costs $30, but this cost can be recuperated quite quickly. Their site is: www.abcbaby.com.au

Community Pharmacies Loyalty Program
I am in Melbourne, and if you join the Community pharmacies for about $8 a year, you get up to 30% off. My Nan formula costs $20 in the supermarket, but I get it at the pharmacy in Glenhuntly for about $16.

Using 15% Off Sales and Loyalty Cards
Even though I am from QLD I thought I might share what I have found with baby products. Yes they are expensive however I buy in bulk when they are on sale. EG, Kmart has 15% store wide sales, Terry White Pharmacy quite often has sales and they also have a rewards system so the more you buy even at a discounted rate the more points you earn toward Xmas presents! My friend had $200 to spend on her XMAS presents after buying from there all through the year. I only buy Homebrand nappies from Woolworths as I think it is very reasonable in price. I buy a box for 19.95 for 64xl naps and we have had only 4 leakages in 7 months. No complaints here on nappies. In case you are wondering about jar baby food, the best advice my friend ever gave me was 'they are just little you so don't cook especially for them you just make extra and serve it up the next night or if it's for that night obviously cool it first' so they are introduced to everything. Mash fresh fruit or blend fruit, even from a tin, when you are stuck for fruit, my children love it as a treat. For dinners just add a bit more water to the mix to get a better consistency and that even stretches the meal out for another night! Hope this helps.

Chemist Loyalty Clubs Equal Savings
When my two kids were using formula, I joined a loyalty club at the local pharmacy- they had great specials, were really friendly, and they had a bonus scheme- for every $200 you spent within a year on baby items, you got a $10 voucher. With two in nappies, i got there quite fast, and i often got a free can of formula using my voucher. Maybe it would pay to ask you local pharmacy if they do this?
