Home Shopping with a Twist

Approximate $ Savings: $200 plus

Recently I ran out of moisturiser and rather than order a new one as I usually would, I went through my bathroom cabinet and found another half used bottle from a previous occasion. To my surprise, there were lots of products, gifts and samples I had forgotten about tucked away in there. It was like shopping at home rediscovering them all and choosing which ones to pull out and use! I have resolved not to buy any new products until all the others in the cabinet are used up first! I also did some 'home shopping' for clothing by going through all my clothes stored away in space bags. There were clothes I forgot I had in there! I now have a great winter coat simply by changing the buttons on a jacket I was going to get rid of!

About the store: This is my fave op shop. It's really small, but literally packed full of really great stuff. Lots of kitchenware, dishes, etc. Some great pictures and paintings. Fantastic for kids clothes and men's jeans. Staff are incredible - they even help you sort through the piles to find the perfect "whatnot". And they are still a really cheap op shop. I've picked up furniture (bar stools $3 each, coffee table $12, it was almost new). I go in for a look-see at least once a week. Service: Excellent Quality: Excellent Price: Excellent

About the store: Best place I've found for picking up soft toys. Buy a bag for $1, $2 or $5 - stuffed full of amazing toys. I filled up the toy cupboard for the grandkids for $12. Now it has a menagerie of stuffed animals, books, toy cars and trucks, an ABC blackboard, abacus, lots of little cars and some dolls. They love to come visit, they know the toy cupboard is there and they can play to their hearts content, then everything goes back in the cupboard just before they go home. Service: Excellent Quality: Varies from good to excellent Price: Excellent
