My daughter wants to participate in a pottery class. Hmmmmmmm, classes near here cost $65.00 for a 2 hour session and that doesn't' even include the kiln! Plus, I had to be there with her as she is just 10. I casually asked how much a block of clay was worth. Ummmmm $18.00 Could I buy 1/2 a block? Sure, for $7.00 (not sure why the discount). I received this huge wad of clay. The (old, old) outside table tennis table has been turned into a clay worker's area and the fun we have had! All for $7.00! My son got in on the act, my daughter's best friend and son's best friend, and 5 girls who happened to turn up for a sleepover. Guess what, we've still got some of that clay left for the school hols - Yeehah!
