Shared Market Stall

My partner and I joined a group of other couples who have a joint market stall that sells all their second-hand goodies at a local market. This can be anything from second-hand appliances to clothing, toys, books etc - the rule being it must be in clean, good, working condition with price tags already attached. The market runs the first Sunday of every month and the stall fee is $50. As there are eight couples this equates to $6.25 per month per couple (or $75 a year). We take it in turns to run the stall which means at the most we will only have to be at the market twice a year. My partner and I have only been a part of this group for four months and have so far made $312 (- the $18.75 in stall fees this is $293.25) which averages out to around $73 a month with minimal cost and effort required on our part. It has cleared so much junk out of our garage and shed and made us a profit in the process!
