Simply Scented Solid Lavender Perfume
These are the cutest little perfumes, so easy to make and inexpensive too. They are great stocking stuffers or additions to a birthday or Christmas present.
You will need:
1 tablespoon grated beeswax
1 tablespoon almond oil
5 to 6 drops lavender essential oil (or your own combination of essential oils)
Step 1. Mix together the beeswax and almond oil and heat gently until melted in the microwave or in a double boiler on the stove over a low heat.
Step 2. Stir well; add the lavender oil and mix well.
Step 3. Pour into a small container with a tight fitting lid. I use small recycled jam jars - the type you get with breakfast in a hotel, with scones and cream in tea shops or that come in hampers. Always wash and sterilise the jars and lids before using them for your perfume.
To use: Massage the scent into your pulse points or wherever you wish.
Not a fan of lavender? Try mixing your own scent by adding vanilla or orange oil or even mint oil for a fresh fragrance.
Have fun experimenting and creating your own signature fragrance!
