31 Days of MOO No. 2 Split Ends and Dry Hair Remedy
You’ll need:
Organic virgin coconut oil
2 drops of peppermint oil
Step 1. Scoop out a good amount of coconut oil. The amount depends on the length and thickness of your hair - you need enough to coat your hair, but not make it thick and gloopy.
Step 2. Mix the coconut oil with the peppermint oil and apply to your hair, really working it into the scalp and down through the ends.
Step 3. If your hair is long twist it up into a bun. Cover your hair with a shower cap or a damp, clean towel.
Step 4. Let the treatment sit for 30 minutes.
Step 5. Shampoo and condition your hair as usual, making sure you get all of the coconut oil out.
You are now able to blow dry and style your hair like you normally would. You will be amazed at how shiny, soft and beautiful your hair looks and feels.
Notes:
Shop around for your coconut oil, it varies a lot in price, depending on where you buy it. You'll pay more at a health food store than you will at a supermarket, where you'll find it in the health food aisle. Aldi also sell a very nice coconut oil that is a little cheaper.
