31 Days of MOO No. 7 MOO VIPoo

When my friend Pamela first told me about this I thought she was joking! She'd been on a cruise with a friend and her friend had brought along a little bottle of this spray for the toilet, guaranteed to prevent odours. Pamela was a bit leery, but she assured me that it did indeed work.

So I had a quick look and was gob smacked at the price - a very expensive air freshener! When I checked the price again last week, as I was writing up this recipe for you, I was gob smacked again - $10 for a 55ml bottle, or $181.80 per litre!

I'm so glad to have this MOO, and it works too - say no more!

Ingredients:
45ml glycerine
30ml rubbing alcohol (Isopropyl)
1/2 cup water
40 - 50 drops your favourite essential oil - I like the freshness of lemon or orange, but lavender or rose, or a mix, is nice too.

Method:
Mix all the ingredients together and pour into a pump spray bottle.

To use, shake well and then spritz the top of the water in the toilet bowl 10 times with the MOO VIPoo.

Notes: you can get glycerine from the chemist or in the health food aisle of some supermarkets.
Rubbing alcohol (Isopropyl alcohol) is available at the chemist.
