Hello Cheapskaters,
Well. Here we are, at the end of another year. I'm going to be cliché and say time flies, because 2019 seems to have gone by in a flash.
So much has happened, both in our family, and here on Cheapskates. We started our YouTube show, and have watched subscribers grow every week, in spite of the hiccups (or perhaps because of them!). Our newsletter has changed slightly (by the way, if you want to keep receiving our weekly newsletter, you need to resubscribe AND confirm that you have done so before 31st December). The world has been even crazier and financial conditions have gone up, plummeted down, gone up, plunged - and yet we have survived.
And now we're just a few days away from Christmas. For us, this time of year is special. We celebrate with family and friends, but we don't go crazy; the reason we celebrate Christmas is always at the back of our minds.
As the year winds down, I wish you all everything good, now and for the future.
