31 Days of MOO No. 5 MOO Bread Machine Mix

Picture
Mixes are so convenient - just dump, mix and bake. And bread mixes are really handy, but expensive to buy. This is a quick to put together mix for a delicious white loaf baked in your bread maker. Having some MOO bread mixes on hand makes getting a loaf on even easier.
This mix makes enough for four 500g loaves of bread.

What you need:
• 13 cups plain flour
• 2 tbsp salt
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup milk powder (skim, no-fat, full cream - it doesn't matter)

Mix those ingredients together until they are well blended. Divide into four equal ziplock bags. Label them "Breadmaker Mix"

On the front of each bag write the baking instructions:

Add the following to the bread maker pan in this order:
• 1-1/4 cups warm water
• 1-1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
• 1 bag Breadmaker Mix
• 2 tsp yeast

Set machine on basic setting for 500g loaf and let the bread bake.
