MOO No. 27: Ramen Noodle Seasoning
When my kids were little the very best treat they could get for lunch was 2 Minute Noodles. They loved them! They were cheap, quick and easy, and in winter they were warm for little tummies. Sometimes I'd add shredded chicken or mince to them - more to ease my conscience at giving them such a nutritionally doubtful lunch, and they'd gobble them down.
As they grew up, their tastes became more sophisticated. They'd still eat the 2 minute noodles, usually dry, but when they discovered the vast variety of ramen available, with so many different seasonings, they were hooked.
Thankfully they buy their own, ramen noodles aren't an item on my shopping list. I have however, converted them from the packets to a simple MOO version using rice noodles and this MOO seasoning. Sometimes they'll sprinkle the seasoning and have the noodles dry, other times they'll add boiling water and have them as a hot snack or quick lunch at work.
